  • Uploaded Files: Files (e.g., CSV or XLS) are processed temporarily to convert them into YNAB-compatible formats. We do not store your financial data.
  • Error and Performance Data: We use Sentry to capture and analyze errors. This may include anonymized metadata like browser type or stack traces.
  • Usage Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the app. This includes anonymized traffic and usage patterns.
  • Optional Contact Info: If you contact us, we may collect your email address for support or updates.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To convert your files to YNAB-compatible format
  • To debug and improve performance (via Sentry)
  • To understand usage trends (via Google Analytics)
  • To respond to your requests or questions

3. Use of Third-Party Services

  • Google Analytics: Collects anonymized user behavior. We have IP anonymization enabled. See Google’s policy here.
  • Sentry: Captures app errors to help us improve. Read Sentry’s policy here.

4. Data Retention

Uploaded files are handled in-memory or temporarily cached and deleted immediately after conversion. No financial data is retained after processing. Analytics and performance data may be retained by third-party tools in line with their privacy policies.

5. API Data Handling

Data obtained through the YNAB API will not be unknowingly passed to any third party. All API data usage is solely for the purpose of importing and formatting your personal financial data for use with your YNAB account.

6. Security

We use secure technologies and industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. However, no online service can guarantee 100% security.

7. Your Rights

  • You can request deletion of your contact information (if provided).
  • You can opt out of Google Analytics via this browser add-on.
